Pine Woods
Pine Woods is a 16 bed medically monitored short term residential program operated by the Community Service Board for the purpose of providing psychiatric stabilization and sub-acute detoxification services. The crisis stabilization program is designated and licensed by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities as both an emergency receiving facility and an evaluating facility. The target population is adults who are most in need with severe and persistent illness, substance abuse related disorders and individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse needs. Services are offered for a limited duration to evaluate treatment needs, develop treatment plans to meet the needs and monitor for stabilization and safety. The program operates 24 hours a day/seven days a week. Family involvement/support is strongly encouraged.
